Classes canceled tomorrow Saturday January 11

Dear club members,

as you probably have guessed, we will cancel our first ski lesson tomorrow. All the snow disappeared with the rain and warm temperatures. Normally we would organize a dryland lesson in the Arboretum, but the forecast for tomorrow looks rainy (lots of it), with freezing rain in the afternoon. For everybody's safety, we will thus also cancel the dryland session. Fingers crossed for next week.

We are also looking for somebody willing to take on the most important task of our jackrabbits program: providing the hot chocolate and cookies at the end of the lesson for the little (and also bigger) athletes. Your commitment is minimal, and we provide all the cups and table and thermoses. If you are interested, email us.

Finally, if you want to combine your love of skiing with your love of riding (slowly) on a snow mobile, we are also looking for a couple more groomers to share the load of creating awesome trails. Again, if you are interested in this, email us. This requires a little bit more training, but is equally satisfying.

Hopefully there is more snow to groom soon!
